Cancer Care Packages Full of Love

A local Girl Scout troop from Hampden made up of first and second graders invited us to their sleepover on Saturday evening at Reeds Brook Elementary School. They were excited to share with us that they were spending some of their evening making some special care packages for kiddos battling cancer at Eastern Maine Medical Center’s Raish Peavey Haskell Children’s Cancer and Treatment Center in Brewer.

The girls were including some of their favorite items; everything from stuffies and blankets to games, puzzles, crayons, and coloring books. They also were including hand sanitizer, gum, life savers, and some other small personal care items.

Thank you, girls! We truly appreciate your kind hearts and generosity.
