Convoy for a Cause

More than 200 trucks, cars, and school buses took to the road on Saturday – all with a common purpose!

“It’s because of this little boy,” explained co-organizer, Jason Perry. Two year old, Enoch, was injured in a scary accident on I-95 north of Bangor. He was recently released from Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center.

His story sparked a movement of caring and generosity. People from all across Maine, New England, and the US sent cards, well wishes, and gifts for this little boy.

“I don’t want him being afraid of them and I want to show him that trucks are a great thing,” added co-organizer, Troy Gamrat.

And on a chilly Saturday, Enoch waved to the trucks and well wishers as they drove by, and together, we were able to see this little boy who captivated us all as he sat in his car seat from a parking lot in Hampden.
