Pennies, Nickels, and Dimes… It All Adds Up to Miracles

We’re so lucky to call Maine home. It’s a place where neighbors care about neighbors, and family and friends rally around each other.

Today is International Credit Union Day, and when I think of neighbors caring about neighbors, I think of our friends from the Bangor Chapter of the Maine Credit Union League.

Each spring, this incredible group of Mainers comes together to host the annual Credit Union for Maine Kids Dinner and Auction. In the ten plus years that they’ve hosted this inspiring event, they’ve raised more than $300,000 to help make miracles happen for kiddos receiving care locally. And just as important, they’ve brightened the smile on their guest of honor’s face – a child who has been personally impacted by the funds raised – by helping them celebrate what it means to be a kid.

Thanks, Maine Credit Union League! We can’t do what we do without your invaluable support!
