Summer Derby Days in Maine

We love hearing stories of our local communities coming together to support local kids! Mark Huard and his students at Huard’s Mixed Martial Arts have made giving back to their community part of their mission for years, and this year, his student, Brody, and his family got into the spirit, as well.

Brody and his dad, Charles Robbins, entered a special car into the Skowhegan State Fair Demolition Derby, and it will be on display tonight for everyone to see.

Together, and with the help of local businesses who sponsored the car, Brody and his family helped to raise $2,100 for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals! A huge thank you to: Tire King, Butlers Car Wash, Short Circuit Electrical, PM Storage, Laundry Lounge, TNT Auto Glass, Yogi Bear Campground, Somerset Disposal Service, Al’s Pizza, Martin LeBlanc Builders, Hight Family of Dealerships, Economy Motors, Franklin Savings Bank, Collision Plus 2, Farrins Country Auctions, Campbell’s Building Supply, Goodridge Electric, Animal Medical Clinic, and Larry and Sally Dwyer!

Check out how cool this car is! Thank you, all!
