Teaching Cancer Who’s The Boss

Alexa, a sophomore at Bangor High School, has never let cancer define her. Instead, she’s busy teaching cancer that SHE is the boss.

She and her family are thankful for the team of doctors and nurses at EMMC’s Raish Peavey Haskell Children’s Cancer and Treatment Center. Community support for this facility, which opened its doors in December of 2012, means kids like Alexa are staying close to home for their treatments of canver and blood disorders. In fact, in 2017, 164 children received care at the Raish Peavey Haskell Children’s Cancer and Treatment Center. Thank you for your support. Thank you for making miracles happen for Maine kids!
