Teal is the New Orange

Halloween is just around the corner! Trick-or-treating should be fun for children, but it’s often tough for kids who suffer from food allergies. That’s why there is a movement across the nation for people to put teal-colored pumpkins on their doorsteps, letting trick-or-treaters know they offer non-treats as well as candy.

Kenni Norton, PA-C, physician assistant, EMMC Family Medicine in Hampden, sat down with WABI TV5, our local TV partner in Bangor, to discuss the Teal Pumpkin Project, and what people can do to help all children have a safe and happy Halloween
