Wendy’s Crews Don Their Best Games Faces For Miracles

Are you ready for some MIRACLES? Our friends from Wendy’s are! They’re donning their game faces to serve up some incredible miracles for Maine kids! They’re hosting their second fundraising campaign of 2021, and we couldn’t be more grateful for their support.

Now through Sunday, September 19th, visit the Wendy’s restaurants in Bangor (Bangor Mall and Union Street), Ellsworth, and Orono and add a football or miracle balloon icon to your order. Your $1 donation will add up to miracles for Maine kids. Camden is one of those kids. He and his family know all too well how important it is to have a specialty children’s hospital close to home.

Camden was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia when he was 21 months old. During his 1,219 day battle, the staff became like family and the Raish Peavey Haskell Children’s Cancer and Treatment Center became his home away from home. Today, Camden is a happy and healthy sixth grader. And, this past Sunday, he laced up his cleats and donned his game face for the first time in two years. The two year absence from school sports was a small hurdle for a kid who paused more than three years of his childhood to courageously battle cancer.
